Our story begins with Tina’s own battle with acne.
Determined to put an end to the disappointment of ineffective products, she channeled her formulation skills to create her very first formula: The Intensive Care Face Lotion. This carefully formulated solution not only eliminated her zits but also provided long-lasting control over her skin’s sebum production.
With just three weeks of using her face lotion, Tina experienced a transformation. Her skin became clear and evenly toned, drawing compliments from those around her. Eager to share her success, she offered the product to friends and family with acne-prone skin. The results were remarkable - not just acne-free, but also with a radiant complexion.
Horem’s journey took a new turn in 2010 when Tina decided to take her formula through the rigorous assessments necessary for commercial sale. However, the complexities of the process led her to shelve her dream, gathering dust for several years.
Fast forward to 2016 when Tina’s encounter with a colleague reignited her passion. Her colleague was struggling with finding the right product for her dry and tight skin. Tina, a formulator at heart, stepped in and offered to create the moisturizer.
In just two weeks, her colleague’s skin was transformed, no longer requiring foundation and concealer. Even her mother was so impressed that she wanted to know what ‘foundation’ she was wearing (as she wasn’t wearing any) this experience sparked Tina’s dream of Horem London.
